About RoundFair
Made by FairLead
RoundFair is a free iOS app that tracks whose turn it is to buy the next round on a night out, and splits the bill fairly at the end.
What it does
- Shows who is up now and who is behind.
- Records rounds in one tap, with locations.
- Shows who drank what, and the cost per person.
- Splits the bill when you're ready, and exports the overview as plain text.
- Shares live with the group through iCloud, and works offline.
See every feature in detail on the features page.
Who it is for
RoundFair is for any group that shares costs on a night out: friends taking turns at the bar, colleagues at work drinks, a table splitting a restaurant bill, or a group sharing taxis and hotel rooms on a trip. The use cases page walks through each one, from pub rounds to bachelor and hen parties.
Why a round tracker, not a ledger
Most bill splitting apps are ledgers that keep a running balance over weeks or months. That works for housemates and long trips, but on a night out the questions are different: whose round is it now, who is behind, and how do we settle before we go home? RoundFair answers those three questions and then gets out of the way. Our comparison of RoundFair and Splitwise explains the difference in more detail.
Private by design
RoundFair has no accounts, no analytics and no servers. Your data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud, and sharing a session with friends uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), so your group's data never passes through a RoundFair account. Read the privacy policy.
Available in seven languages
RoundFair and this website are available in English, Nederlands, Français, Deutsch, Español, Italiano and Português.
Who makes RoundFair
RoundFair is made by FairLead, founded by Florian Ronsse, and is published on the App Store under his name. Florian is also the author of the guides on this site, from round etiquette to splitting a receipt item by item.
RoundFair first appeared on the App Store in July 2026. Version 2.2, released in September 2026, improved iCloud synchronisation for shared sessions, added sharing of saved items and prices within a session, and made it easier to split shared bills.
